Clärchens Ballhaus Future In Question As Operators Ousted

Clärchens Ballhaus, the famous restaurant and ballroom in Mitte is in seeming peril. Apparently the managers of the restaurant did not have their contract renewed and it is unclear what if anything will happen to the ballhaus and the Spiegelhall restaurant above. Though the future of the location is still unclear, we do know that the building is due for a major overhaul and there were some regulation issues as the location is a protect cultural site. Undoubtedly there will be a major uproar should Clärchens face closure, but should it remain open better food and service may be a benefit to the shop. More on the story as it develops.
