Six Berlin Food Events To Hit Up This Week

Six Berlin food events in Neukölln, Friedrichshain, and Kreuzberg doing Tacos, Fried Chicken Biscuits, Kati Rolls and more. Here it goes!

Coming up tonight over in Neukölln’s small avant guard shop, Barra, we got an Eska X Barra event. The deal is Eska, a Prague based restaurant is linking up with Barra to create a showcase set menu at about 40 bucks a head with some Czech wines to match. Check it out here.

Coming up tonight over in Friedrichshain’s Santa Cantina we got the Manic Monday event welcoming back Piri’s Chicken Sandwich shop for the Chicken Burger event. Four bucks a sandwich with all you can drink margaritas. Check it out here.

Coming up tomorrow over at The Castle Friedrichshain we got an event titled Zero KM Tuesday. They are going to be hosting a food producer ever week who’ll be producing locally sourced food from distant lands. For tomorrow we got the Panucho, a Mexican food specialty from the Yucatán made with a refried tortilla that is stuffed with refried black beans and topped with chopped cabbage, pulled chicken or turkey, tomato, pickled red onion and avocado. Coming up on Wednesday over at the East Side Gallery we got a Sabor a Mi with Vegxico putting up a Mexican Lunch Food Truck. On the docket will be a full menu including – Cochinita Pibil, Tinga de Pollo, Aubergine Pasillada, Cauliflower Adobo and more. Check it out here.

Coming up on Thursday we got Humble Pie setting up shop over in Kreuzberg’s Hallesches Haus where they will be doing The Nashville Hot Chicken & Biscuit Sandwich, a Southern fried chicken on a handmade buttermilk biscuit (bun) with a choice of spice level. Check it out here.

Coming up on Thursday over in Friedrichshain’s Strassenbräu we got the first pop up from Gupta & Sons, a new Kati Roll project. Three Kati Roll types for the event, one roll for five bucks, and two for nine. Check it out here.
