Five New Years Dinners In Berlin: New Years Eve Rundown
Kreuzberg, Mitte, Friedrichshain- BRLO BRWHOUSE, Layla, Zenkichi, To The Bone, The Castle, Barwas
Kreuzberg– BRLO BRWHOUSE is doing a New Years event this year and will be offering a double fondue event to accompany a wide selection of beers and naturally champagne at midnight. Two seatings, for either classic fondue or for a fondue chinois at 45 or 65 bucks a pop. Check it out here.
Kreuzberg– Layla, the new Israeli joint at the Crown Plaza Hotel is going to be offering a New Year’s Eve dinner at 150 bucks a pop, or 195 accompanied with a little booze. Specially designed menu for the event, but now word out on what will be on the docket. Likely to be some high end ingredients on the menu because as Israeli joints in town go, these guys are on the fancier end of then shmanzy spectrum. Check it out here.
Mitte– Zenkichi, the Japanese fine diner is going to be offering a special New Years Eve “Epicurean Menu” that will include items like Hokkaido Scallops, Soft Shell Crab Tempura, Junmai Ginjo Shabu Shabu, and also a Truffle-buttered Lobster Don among others. 105 bucks a pop, Sake not included. Mitte– To The Bone, meat centric and jazz loving Mitte restaurant is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner with a menu that aims to celebrate Italian meat culture, but will also have a vegetarian menu to accompany. Butchers Plat, White Truffle Risotto, Bisteca Fiorentina and more. 6 course full menu at 119 bucks. Check it out here.
Friedrichshain– The Castle’s newly opened shop dow in Friedrichshain is hooking up with Barwas for a New Years Hummus and Beer event, because the new year is all about carbo loading. There is no better way to close the year then with Hummus & Beer. Mr. Eatler says so. Check it out here.
