Starting today and going on all week is DingsDums Dumplings, the six month old dumpling shop will be doing a pop up at Hugos over in Mitte with Berlin gastro-bloggers In Search Of. They will offer Black Mantı beef with red butter and garlic yogurt cream with beluga lentil pomegranate salad, Red Maultaschen – spinach and leek tofu potato with teriyaki glaze and roasted cherry tomatoes as well as Vegan Wantan Soup 3 on 3 -Black Fungus-Shiitake-Mushroom. Tomorrow over in Kreuzberg the fine diner will find that Restaurant Richard is taking it to the high brows with a Truffle Tuesday Trüffelmenu for their ten year anniversary. For the fine price of 140 bucks you got a six course menu featuring the fragrant fungus and a numerous other goodies including a Calve Tartar and a Tournedos Rossini. Check it out here.
Wednesday over in Neukölln, Palsta, the new Scandanavian snack wine bar joint will be hosting Rødder for a 5 course dinner with a selection wines and cider to enjoy with the dinner. Menu will include items like Hake, pickled wild mushrooms hollandaise and kale, Pork, with onions, carrots, sauce, as well as a Goat milk Ice cream with caramel and apples. 40 bucks a pop, no booze included. On Thursday over in Kreuzberg at Facciola we got the Aperithirstday which means a freshly prepared revolving buffet of hand selected products and great deals on wine. Five bucks a person for the buffet, booze not included. Check it out here.
Friday over at Friedrichshain’s newest beer mecca, The Castle, who will host a party to mark the opening of their 2nd location in Berlin. They will have 50 different beers on tap, a large variety of gin, as well as a selection of spirits. Party goes from 7pm on. Check it out here.
