Quickly Expanding Bakery Hosts Raw Meat/Wine Event

Albatross Bakery, the quickly expanding Berlin bakery that has marketed its wares to numerous popular Berlin establishments and Pop Ups is about to host an event of their own. Tomorrow they will be hosting an event called Mettwoch with Wine Club Berlin at their Kreuzberg bakery. The deal is raw wine and raw meat, but not your average tartar. Mett, “a preparation of minced raw pork that is popular in Germany. The name originates from the Old Saxon meti, meaning “food”. Most often served on bread with a simple 70s garnish.” One does wonder what “70’s garnish” might mean? Perhaps service will be wearing bell bottoms. Event takes place tomorrow night.
