New London Cuisine Joint Decides To Bow Out Gracefully

Moabit- Richwater & Mitchell

New London Cuisine joint, Richwater Mitchell, that has had a one and half year run as one of the more successful young restos in town, has decided to close down at the end of the month. This comes as a quite a surprise as the leader and owner of R&M, Anton Michel managed quite a year, featuring on the cover of Tip Berlin’s Speisekarte Magazine and winning solid reviews for his new restaurant. As to why this is going down? Michel says:

“You should stop when it’s most beautiful.” R & M is – similar to our pop-up ANTON KOCHT at Winterfeldtplatz – a gastronomic experiment that gave us a lot of pleasure, but just like ANTON KOCHT, we do not want to be fixed in one direction, but always reinvent ourselves, a new concept is in the works, but the direction is still secret! “

All right Anton, leave’em wanting more, Mr. Eatler gets it. The deal is that Michel has some plans to display his talent for later in the summer, but that when the decision came down to either running 80-90 hour weeks for the next 5-10 years or move forward and do something new. Berlin looks forward to the next Michel concept. Mr. Eatler will keep you abreast. R&M closes its doors at the end of the month, so Go Eat There Now!!
