Lots of openings, and some closings on the rundown today. Here it goes:

Openings:

Prenzlauer BergDirty Velvet Drinkery had their All Night Opening bender. Lots of give away shirts plus a sizable amount of shots. Hangovers were included for free. The bar is now open for service, three long happy hours every day and all day mid-week. Check it out here

FriedrichshainSoms Kitchen opened up the joint last week after some minor delays. Modern Thai street food with some fusions leaning right next to Warschauer Straße. Lunch menu is out, grand opening still unannounced. Check it out here

CharlottenburgRoyal India have opened up on Uhlandstraße. Still unclear what the deal is with their food menu, but their cocktails have set a certain mood already. Check it out here

Kreuzberg – We had an Eatler Reader Writes whip out a review for the opening of the third Maison Umami in the city. Vietnamese joint serving a solid pho and pagoda rolls. Check it out here

Mitte Pasta Deli opened up right in between Hermann’s and Commonground last week Monday. No bullshit pasta, salads and self-service. Check it out here

Mitte L.A. Poké had what looks like their softy last week. Not sure if they’ll host a longer event, this was a three hour quickie. Check it out here

Closings:

KreuzbergEiszeit cinema closed shop after running for more than thirty years. Gentrification at its finest, mixed with some landlord disputes and complicated renovations. Stay tuned for what’s happening next. Check it out here

Neukölln – Info was leaked to Eatler about the closing of meat spot Bare Knuckle & Sons. String of unfortunate events, a broken water pipe, but also new plans on deck. Check it out here
