Restaurant Reviews: Brunch, Pizza, & Love For The Avo
Reviews Of The Day: We got one in Freddy, one in Neukölln and one in Mitte, some newbies, some oldies and some Avo.
Friedrichshain- Silo, the popular breakfast joint and coffee shop, partially responsible for Rosenthaler Platz’s Commonground, got some love from Stil In Berlin who did a repeat review of the joint after not really knowing where it wast that she wanted to go. Oh, the paradox of choice, we have all known it, streaming through movie after movie on Netflix, only to fall upon old faithful and watch Shawshank Redemption yet again. Yet SIB found that Silo was as solid as it had always been. Check out the full post here.
Neukölln- Ammazza Che Pizza, new-ish pizza joint got much love from the folks over at Cee Cee, which is not an enormous surprise, because Cee Cee is full of love, and everybody is full of love for pizza. The joint itself seems like a straitforward pizza shop, but the design is pretty pretty, from the same peeps who designed the playful sushi joint, Nihombashi. Think ‘where the wild things are’ meets Tim Burton, and make them all Italian. Check out the full post here.
Mitte- Petit Bijou, breakfast spot on the river with heavy handed avo love got a nice little write up from Qiez who admires the pancakes, the coffee, and of course the avo. Don’t forget the good looks as well. Check out the full post here
