Reviews Of The Day- French, German, Italian, And Bonus Winner of ROTD

October 10, 2017|Reviews

Reviews Of The Day, here’s the rundown. We got one from Mit Vergnügen, one from Berlin ick Liebe dir, and one from Qiez. And one triple winner bonus surprise…

First up in Wilmersdorf from Mit Vergnügen is a review of Aux Merveilleux de Fred. The authentic French patisserie and desert coffee shop has several branches in France, New York, London and Switzerland and is the result of a long tradition and passion of the owner and confectioner Frédéric Vaucamps. The Mereveilluex, a special type of cake, as well as the other pastry are prepared freshly on the spot in the open bakery. Check the full article here L’Incroyable

Next up in Mitte from Berlin ick liebe dir is a review of Katz Orange. The joint has been around for five years now, tucked away in a backyard. The versatile cuisine is predominantly organic and seasonal inspired by dishes from all over the world with plenty of veggie & vegan options. Check out the full article here Candy on bone

Next up in Kreuzberg from Qiez is a review of Bonnano, a coffeeshop and shisha-bar located close to the Nationalmuseum. Next to high end Shishas the hangout offers a variety of snacks, shakes, smoothies and coffee. But beware members of the male species: if you want to suck that proverbial glass cock you have to be in company of a female. But no sweat if you are single. The joint offers a Shisha catering service as well. Check out the full article here Sofas, shakes and shishas

Last up in Mitte from Tip, Mit Vergnügen and Qiez is a triple review of Night Kitchen, the winner of this edition of the ROTD. The joint follows the spirit of a gastro pub, where you eat, drink and hang with family and friends. Located in a refurbished 19th century remise in the back yard of the Heckmann-Höfe, it offers modern mediterranean cuisine dishes to share. Thats it for these reviews of the day… stay tuned for more underground gastro news and keep Mr. Eatler posted on anything he needs to know.
