Anton Michel Brings London Standards To Berlin

MoabitRichwater & Mitchell head chef and owner Anton Michel claims the English food revolution over the past 20 years has raised the standards and even exceeds those of Germany. Richwater & Mitchell opened a couple of months ago under the banner of the self coined phrase: New London Cuisine. About two years ago he had a successful pop-up named Anton Kocht, featuring classical German cuisine. Oh, and he’s only 24 years old. EXBERLINER interviews him and finds out about his young wisdom. When asked about what food trend he hates, the diplomatic answer says it all: “I don’t hate any food trend. Some things I find better, some things I ignore. The last thing I ignored was probably vegan cooking.” So, he hates the vegan trend it seems.
